Our studio is located at 1201 Loop 281, Suite 400, Union Plaza in Longview, Texas.
Pilates is a mode of exercise that can be performed by everyone. That means athletes, moms, dads, grandparents, those fit and the not-so-fit ! Equipment based pilates includes training on the Reformer, the Cadillac, Stability Chair, Barrels and Spring Walls. Not only do you learn spinal stabilization principals, you learn how to really work the abdominals and back extensors to train the core to be as strong as it can be. The stronger the core, the more efficient your other workouts and activities of daily living will be! Learning how to engage the pelvic floor, the transversus abdominis and the obliques will lead you to flatter and stronger abs. It will bring an entire new meaning to "crunches" - done more effectively!
Whether you are an athlete looking to enhance your sport, or a mom, dad or grandparent that just wants to keep playing with the kids for years to come, pilates can work for you! You may be coming from a shoulder or knee surgery... we have the experience and expertise to give you exactly what you need. We have clients from all areas with a wide range of physical issues, i.e., arthritis, osteopenia, osteoporosis, rotator cuff and knee surgeries, fibromyalgia, degenerative disc disease, disc herniation issues, sciatica, scoliosis and more. On the other side of that we have athletes that are wanting to improve their sport, their performance, their golf swing ! Our focus is to re-educate muscles that may not be working properly and re-aligning the spine to move in a way that puts the least amount of stress on the spine and joints. A healthier, stronger core means a healthier, stronger quality of life !
